That's unfortunate but that was bad parenting, why was little breh at a concert like this?

while I doubt my sis would let my 8 year old nephew go...I wouldn't call the dad a bad parent.

Scott advertized himself to kids with that fortnite bullshyt, my nephew watched that shyt and sorta likes his music because of it.

Dad was doing dad things, can't blame him.

Personally. I wouldn’t have based on Covid alone. But I been going to hip hop concerts since I was 10 and 11 years old. If it’s a safe environment it shouldn’t have been a big deal.

Yea at first I was thinking the same thing like “Why was a damn Nine year old there?” Then I remembered that at 9 i was just starting to listen to rap and if my father would have wanted to take me to a Rap concert at that age I would have been ecstatic. Also these rappers are the new pop stars, they’ve got Mcdonalds commercials, video game ads, snack foods, basically all the shyt kids love and find cool.

Its not on the parent with this one.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..

nikkas need to stop saying this Michael Jackson shyt. shyt is NOWHERE near the same. Put it like this. MJ concerts had WAY more people in attendance yet no casualties. shyts were safe. Also. The reason for the audience passing out at his concerts were completely different.

how is it not his fault? this makes 0 sense and he should be accountable for this stuff. As well as the venue and live nation.

Travis doesnt have control of a crowd that decides to break the barricade and force themselves in

There was 10s of thousands of people there.. a sea of people... Its unfortunate but 8 died...

What are the chances of Travis seeing that 8 or even seeing what people needed help

Not everyone that was there got injured, it was isolated

Blaming Travis is choosing the lowest hanging fruit, only because he is the performer. The venue failed. Point blank period. They should've been better prepped.

he told them to rage and incited the crowd. he told a fan to jump from a rafter and he fell and became paralyzed in new york. he has a history of this shyt. you are wrong here and he will be sued personally and lose.

WAAAIT A fukkING MINUTE, there was a fukking 9 year old at the concert? :stopitslime: the parents should be facing jail time instead of suing.

parents aren't at fault.

Scott advertised this festival as all ages and he advertised himself to kids, especially with that fortnite shyt. My 8 year old nephew knows about him because of fortnite.

Have you ever seen a Travis Scott concert ? It's most definitely not a "safe environment".

The Venue doesn’t put on the show

it was Live Nation & Travis Scott’s team

Travis incited the violence and should be held responsible

Again...it is not his responsibility to maintain safety at his shows. He has a duty to provide security, which he did. He does not have a duty to maintain security, that's on the actual hired security and the venue. If you can't understand that you're just looking to blame dude and being obtuse.
There are times where doing what's legal and doing what's ethical don't overlap. There are moments where breaking the law is the right thing to do, and vice versa.

I think it's absolutely wrong to not help save lives and increase the safety in a dangerous situation if you are in a clear position to make a difference on the outcome. When you have a crowd that big in the palm of your hand, you have the ability to help the situation. Even if you don't have a legal obligation to help the situation, I think as a human being that it's the right play.

Also @spliz and @Piff Perkins have correctly stated that anyone can sue anyone for anything. Travis is absolutely going to have to lose some bread over this situation.
