Non white? :dahell:

Only 3,Origins and that self contained dlc was where we haven’t been white

Altair
Connor in AC 3 + Aveline in the AC Liberation dlc
Adewale in the Freedom Cry dlc tacked on to Black Flag
AC Origins had Bayek and shoehorned Aya in for one mission
Basim upcoming

Bayek has been the closest to an out-and-out black character to headline to any title. Considering the recent modern-day Egyptian fracas over Cleopatra, good luck even claiming that.

I'm confused...

How do you compare the "fracas" from race swapping a historical figure from a white European heavily inbred imperialist family to Bayek, a fictional character of 100% African ancestry? :dahell:

Nevermind the fact no one complained about Cleopatra's portrayal in the game...

Its also worth noting the recent Cleopatra "fracas" was over the use of the word documentary implying its a historically accurate presentation of the historical record...Ignoring archaeological findings, presenting unverified rumors as fact, what some random persons grandmother told them and using your imagination is NOT an accurate presentation of the historical record...

Bayek doesn't have any of these problems, he's a fictional character and 100% of African ancestry...Confirmed by the artists that created him...

Assassin’s Creed Red Release Date

It’s understood that Assassin’s Creed Red currently has a tentative release date of Holiday 2024. Given the fact that Ubisoft has had a tendency to delay the majority of its games in recent years, we recommend taking this release window with caution. However, from our understanding, Assassin’s Creed Red is fully playable and we expect to here more official details on the game early next year.

Assassin’s Creed Red Characters

Unlike most Assassin’s Creed games, Assassin’s Creed Red is understood to have two playable characters – a male Samurai and a female Shinobi.

The male Samurai is an African refugee who learned the way of the creed and following our original report, fans now believe this character could be based on Yasuke – the first African Samurai. Yasuke is known to be the first African samurai to serve in Japan in the late 1500’s. According to Thomas Lockley, co-author of African Samurai: The True Story of Yasuke, a Legendary Black Warrior in Feudal Japan, Yasuke “was employed as muscle because missionaries aren’t allowed to have weapons”. It’s understood that this Assassin will have a similar role in Red – With the Samurai Assassin being the brute and broan with heavy attacks.

It’s unclear who exactly the female Shinobi could be based on in real life, but we understand that she will be a lot more agile compared to the Samurai.

One thing seems to be clear though, both characters will have completely different traits and weapons to make them unique from one another.

Assassin’s Creed Red Features

Insider Gaming learned earlier this year that a major feature of Assassin’s Creed Red will be stealth and will take some features from the Splinter Cell series. For example, players will be able to use shadows to conceal themselves as well as extinguish torches to stay in the dark (similar to shooting lights in Splinter Cell). Enemy bodies can also be picked up and moved into hard-to-find locations.

Another feature coming to Assassin’s Creed Red is destructible environments, which will allow players to break anything that you could expect to break in real life with the tools they have. Screen doors for example can be slashed and broken open. Whilst this isn’t a Battlefield-esque type of environmental destruction, it adds yet another layer to Assassin’s Creed Red that players will enjoy.

Except Sucker Punch develops better games than ubisoft let's be for real

That’s debatable. But outside better animation and slight polish, GOT is almost identical to any main line ass creed title

Man this is a downplay and you know it. Sucker punch just did their formula better. Ubisoft been riding the same open world formula for almost 2 decades and hasn't improved on it at all.
When playing Ghost it never felt like a chore going around the world and doing things. Ubisoft could learn a thing or two honestly

You are just posting a bunch of generic babble. What exactly has ghost done that is radically different than ass creed? It has the same open world tropes like any other ubisoft title.

There is no radical differences. Like I said before they use the same formula Ghost just did it better. And a bunch of other posters seem to agree. Idk what to tell you. Ghost didn't feel like the same open world shyt we been getting for years but every ubisoft title does. Been a minute since I play Assassins creed Valhalla or Ghost but Ghost fasho played better

for one, combat in Tsushima is just way better than Assassins Creed. Theres no bettter sword combat in gaming.

In Tsushima they made you feel like an actual samurai. It was the perfect homage to Kurosawa. Assassins creed has no real identity, its not even a stealth game anymore, it wants to be a witcher clone, now the new one is going back to the roots, which is always something devs do when they run out of ideas.

And Tsushima isn’t even my favorite ps game, but Suckerpunch jumped over Ubi with ease with the entire execution of that game. Everything AC does Ghost does better, and it came up with a few of its own cool gameplay mechanics, like using wind instead of relyin on your map, seamlessly changing the weather, Legends mode, duels, captiviating story, etc.

And the game is visual splendor

Its sony :yeshrug:
