Another piece of advice, DO NOT eat after 8pm. Wake up in the morning feeling your leanest, and then crush a big breakfast to reward yourself for being disciplined. If you do work out at nights, its ok to have a post workout shake, but mix it with water - and keep it <250 cals. When food sits on your stomach overnight, it will not break down correctly while you sleep - this leads to you waking up feeling like shyt. *BUT BUT, the guys on Jersey shore eat pizza everynight and drink beer*

I wake up looking like this every morning.

Picture of my back..good size, but definitely an area that I'm working to improve. I want to add thickness in areas, and get it more shredded.

And I'm not responding to any negative comments until you post a picture of yourself. Dudes on here remind me of the trainers at the gym, walkin around lookin all salty cus dudes not even in the industry have better physiques. No hate on anyone, but I've realized "trainers and self described nutritionists" become real defensive when outsiders encroach on their turf. As dude mentioned, just take the gems and keep it moving. You don't have to listen to me, but I didnt get this physique by blindly going about it.

Actually this gym section is pretty calm compared to other forums :dream:

Folks actually give good advice on here.

I know i've certainly used some of the advice on here through trial and error.

Somethings worked out others didn't pan out :manny:

Really think our gym section filters a ton of bs and really give people great advice :obama:

Truth, out of the boards that I've been on (bb, and the fitness board of the site we don't mention), this is by far the best. I lurked there far longer than I've been lurking here and I've already made more progress piecemealing together other people's methods. Everyone here has been supportive for the most part and I've yet to see any real dikk heads or a$$holes.

On topic: can't argue with the OP's method when he looks the way he looks. Works for him and I see some dieting and nutrition methods I can adapt.

Peace and props, op.

I dont really do body weight based exercises, but i'll try your advice. Never really been big on chinups/pull ups, more of a weights guy. Thx

i broke through plateaus by incorporating progressive weighted dips/chins

especially dips :wow: @semtex also put me onto hip pushups which have been an incredible utility exercise at the end of my workouts

shakes are perfectly fine. I workout late nights sometimes, and will crush a shake right after, around 11:30 or midnight. but resist eating actual meals, especially ones that are carb intensive. Dude earlier said it was horse s*it, but I highly suggest you try it for two weeks straight, and gauge the results. You'll be walking around feeling leaner every day.
