well like I said I have a bit of a gut and I can't see my abs at all. And I've also heard that you have to have below 12% body fat to really be ripped and be able to see your abs. I really want to get rid of this gut but are you saying I should bulk up first and then try to lose the gut?I think ideal weight for you would be 180 @ 8-10%, you'd look shredded as hell. Just keep lifting heavy but eat on an overage to steadily gain 1-2lbs pr week. Id lay off the cardio as well and just focus on eating and lifting heavy. Based on you stats, you seem to already have a good physique. Anyone in the 10-12% range over 170 would look like they "lift". Good job.
