If dominicans were truly racist against people bc of the color of their skin, we wouldve in a civil war in the country for the past 60 years. Most dominicans are brown-black skinned, the beef with Haiti back in the day had nothing to do with the color of their skin. We are on the same island yes buy haiti is basically a foreign country. Everyone that lives up in the hills are dark skinned. We went on little excursions and shyt and all the Domincan kids that were running up to us asking for dollars were dark skinned. Everyone in town was chilling together regardless of skin color.

It was a mix everywhere I went on the island.

But I'm not Dominican so I can't really speak on it 100%
