I agree but if they want to go back to high school, can't have a 31 or 32 year old playing a 15 year old kid
i figured it would be that Holland kid from the get-go. Asa is too p*ssy looking. This Holland kid is perfect b/c he's highly regarded off that tsunami movie, and by the time Spiderman and Civil War come out, he'll have been in that whaling movie with Thor, so people will know his name.
Casting an "unknown" for Thor is fine - that's a hard role to cast, but casting some random kid as Spiderman is a tough ask. There needs to be a little notoriaty to the actor and he'll have it before the movies drop.

How much notoriety did Tobey and Andrew have when they were cast? The kid from pleasantville and that kid from social network not named jesse eisenberg
no one really knew Garfield, but it was right around when Social Network came out, so he was instantly known. People knew Tobey from a few movies. This kid is right in that boat. No one has ever heard of Charlie Rowe and it doesn't seem like they will know him from anything else any time soon.
Let me rephrase it: no one i knew who Tobey was and he definitely wasn't anyone to the average moviegoer
moreso than Charlie Rowe or Tom Holland though. he was in that Oscar bait movie... Cider House Rules? was it that? Then Wonder Boys or some shyt? those were both notable movies. and Pleasantville (underrated movie)

I hear you but I'm saying that to the average moviegoer breh, they were no names. To their target demographic, which would be kids, families, and grown men still reliving our childhoods lol, they're not A list celebrities. or even B list. I can speak as a 15 year old at the time, I had no clue who Tobey was. None. and that's as an average moviegoer, not as a hardcore film geek who sees everything
