Yeah, one would almost wonder where they got such an idea if it wasn't exactly how Spider-Man started out in the comics and all.

Anyway, my pick is Holland because he proved to be a great (not good, great!) actor in The Impossible. I don't know if he can do a solid American accent though.

so u think i give one flying fukk about the spiderman comics? see thats where your wrong already because i dont plus he's being introduced in civil war which makes no fukking sense since there's no fukking way he'd even be involved in that shyt at 15 no one would ask him to be apart of it or even want him there....civil war dealt with grown ass men with grown ass problems definitely a marvel misstep imo doing this origin shyt all over again

At this point nobody is aware yet that Spider-Man is a teenager. They'll probably introduce him as an urban legend/vigilante type guy who has been capturing minor criminals and stuff and the events of Civil War put the spotlight on him.
