By the thumbnail, I can tell we are in for some shyt takes, without addressing what's really going on and that's the entire higher ups treating inner cities like a No Holds Barred match, until the opponents end up X'ed out of the ring, in favor of golf courses ala gentrification, harder prison sentences, and wig pushbacks for black folks to go forward beyond the bullshyt.

Poor people who are really committing crimes to survive are usually doing non violent shyt. They just want to eat and have a place to live.
They’re not hurting anyone unless they feel they have no choice.
A lot of the people committing these violent crimes (especially the young ones) are literally using the money to buy designer clothes and other unimportant material shyt. They want a high end lifestyle that they can only afford by committing crimes and they’re gonna get what they want by any means.
Poverty has to be addressed, but the people that actually live in these areas want a more immediate fix. Unfortunately there is no immediate fix.

I advocate arresting and charging violent criminals. But you have to address the circumstances that are turning a lot of poor young Black males into criminals to begin with.
