(1) When you hate, of course nothing makes sense...

(2) I have received several daps for my post, so OBVIOUSLY, some people get my point...

But to answer your quoted statement...My rebuttals included "THAT'S EXACTLY MY POINT" because the statements that were made ACTUALLY supported 2Pac's greatness, but the people making those statements can't see it...

(1) "[selling] MORE after" death is a sign of GREATNESS...Why, because many more rappers have died, and how do their numbers compare to Jay Z's...?
How do Mac Dre's numbers compare to Jay Z's...?

(2) For Jay Z to surpass 2Pac's sales only recently, considering ALL the gimmicks Jay Z pulls, indicates that 2Pac has been selling a significant amount of records even after he died...

If your opinion is that 2Pac's overall sales have more to do with his dying than his product, then explain why other dead rappers have not been able to accomplish the same...?

(3) I am NOT saying that 2Pac's death did not boost some of his sales, what I am saying is...
a. 2Pac's product was so good that his fan base bought into it, even after his death, that is the stuff of legends...
b. 2Pac would have sold even more records if he was still alive...Because he would be around to promote himself...And his talent for self-expression is arguably top 2 DOA...
Don't compare a regional acts like Big L and Mac Dre to Pac stop it. Pac also had two double albums that eventually went diamond (Greatest Hits and All Eyez On Me), double CD's counts as two if 5 million people it counts as if 10 million people bought the album so Pac's numbers are inflated a bit.

2Pac's product wasn't so good, it wasn't a step above every other rapper like Pac stans make it seem. Several MC's best can go toe to toe with Pac's best CD's.

Gimmie 5 rappers that can match Pac's 3 album run from 94-96...(MATW,AEOM,7DT)

He would? What is this based on?
(1) If Nas managed to stay relevant all these years, then I am sure 2Pac would have a pretty good chance of doing the same...

(2) Makaveli was 2Pac's last album, and arguably one of his best...Even 2Pac haters give props to that album...2Pac didn't even rich a slump yet...

(3) The way 2Pac was able to capture what was going around him and express it, and express all spectra of human emotions in a convincing way, is the stuff that people gravitate to...

(4) 2Pac could get crazy ignorant...2Pac on these Young Chop Drill Beats would have been :blessed:...You combine 2Pac's ability to express emotional turmoil with dark hypnotic beats, then you get the "sauce" for success...

(5) 2Pac's flow (when he was not drunk and slurring) was SO ON POINT...This why there are so many 2Pac remixes over popular beats that sound so dope...Because of 2Pac's ability to stay on a 4/4 time signature beat...

2Pac was ARGUABLY the biggest talent hip hop has ever seen thus far...The hood could relate, the middle class wanted to be him, the higher class hated him...

Dude was built for success...

2Pac has NEVER needed a popular producer to make dope tracks...

Most of this is obviously just an opinion...

Tupacs product sold a lot because of his image and the media. He sold a lot after his death because of how he died and how it went unsolved, plus media. The argument against Jay with gimmicks is also bullchit As tupac's thug gimmick got him over. Using Mac etc. as examples is dishonest as they were never involved in a coastal beef and didn't die at the height of their popularity.

Regional? Nikka is comparing a dead artist with another that justifiable. Pac's album sales are not inflated becuse his double disk albums still meet the requirement to go diamond. And Pacs Aeom and 7 day theory are not up to date for almost 20 years now. Aeom has been 9x plat since 99'. In reality Hov hasnt passed Pac. And Pac's work is well done so cut that nonsense..

Every rapper makes record sales off image/talent so what are you yapping about? Pac and Jay sold their image and talent exceptionally well hence why they're top 3 in America. Spade with a spade nikka.

Nas and tupac are not the same rapper. Idk where that came from. He could have easily ended up like Nelly or 50.

Tupac already had a slump, until me against the world came out.

Tupac on drill beats is something I'm not eager to hear.

I hope you're not trying to say Pac had better flow than jay-z.
