I have a friend who I've known for many years. He married a very nice white woman and they had twin girls and 1 boy. He was with the Black Panther Party back in his youth but left it behind when he got older. All 3 of his children married white and now he has white looking grandkids running around. He privately confided to me that although he loves his family. he wishes he had Black grandkids like I do. He loves them but the way he explained it was that it's a shock to see people who are your descendants look like the people who you were segregated from when you were younger. It's weird and thank God I don't have that problem!

From the DMV too and outside of Hispanic/White pairings I rarely see IR couples. nikkas might smash a white girl or two but the ones I know and see all be with BW.

To be honest, he lived in a white community and his kids went to majority white private schools so I guess it was inevitable? If you saw the grandkids, the only thing that gives them away is their pug noses that they inherited from him, lol. They have ivory white skin and almost straight hair. He loves them to death but he says that at times he feels weird when he thinks about it but he catches himself and pushes it out of his mind. He's a nice man.

The problem with IR is that the wealth and assets of oppressed communities are funneled back into the white power structure.

Initially ir was promoted among oppressed groups to marry with each other to consolidate wealth and eventually be able to subvert the white supremacist system. Idea became popular amongst civil rights groups during the 50s & 60s when collaboration between these groups was stronger

Instead it turned into the best of these communities gifting their legacy to cacs and further strengthening their infrastructure. All while lashing out at their own for not approving of their decision.

Alotta people think IR is about who people are fukking but it's really about how these unions typically end up benefitting cacs more than the reverse.

It's likely that the half and halfs you're speaking on will be better of financially and more socially accepted amongst the mainstream unfortunately.

Ya'all worry too much - when communities get more mixed, it gets to the point where everyone is a minority and most of the people you know are outside your race. Doesn't mean you have to marry out but the odds obvious go up. Especially true if you go to college.

My wife is Egyptian, I'm proud of that, we've been married over ten years and will be married for the rest of our lives.
