Naw, you were on point. Intimacy and touch is affected, so it's difficult to build and maintain a physical and emotional bound throughout life because all of those "feelings" are wrapped into an abusive action. This is pretty common with victims of any type of abuse (include heavy emotional abuse). Promiscuity is easy because it's purely physical and abuse victims tend to think of their value as binary...physical/sexual.

Got nothing to do with race, maybe with gender though as men's promiscuity isn't really seen as being an issue.

Absolutely, this usually happens in the family, just sharing how easy it is for a child to become a victim of a stranger. A little Orthodox boy was lured and killed within walking distance a few years ago. They don't talk about stuff like that in their communities, so all of those kids are targets.
