How would a mixed person be racist towards a black person? Racism is a group dynamic where one race, who has resources and power, imposes their will on another race to the detriment of said race. From what I've seen, I don't see this kind of dynamic going on between mixed and black people in America.

I agree with the OP. I don't think there's any shortage of dudes that are going for dark skinned women though. I agree nobody should put dark skinned women or men down, that's just mentally sick. not all mixed people are mixed with white. Not all, or even most, or even a lot of mixed people have bitter mothers. Where do you come up with this shyt? So you've met a couple of mixed people that were basket cases and now this applies to a large amount of them? I've met mixed people like the ones you've described and sometimes the mother has nothing to do with it, most times it's the media. I'm not sure if it's racism though... but I can't call it.

Let's be honest. These types of threads always boil down to insecurity. Today more than ever, dark skin blacks are revered and constantly reminded of how beautiful they are. If you're an attractive dark skin black man or woman, you will have more than enough suitors beating down your door.


The problem is a lot of you aren't as attractive as you think you are, and you want brownie points for the color of your skin. I've lost count how many times folks on this site have tried to insult light skin men or women in order to prop up their dark skinned counterparts. Light skin men are soft and emotional, and light skin women are piss colored, diluted, and overrated. I guarantee if you did a poll, the majority of the men on thecoli would say they prefer a dark skin woman. You can't even name a poster outside of 2 or 3 guys who go out of their way at times to shyt on dark skin women, and if any of you go outside, you'll see blacks of all colors with a mate. Just because Akon doesn't want you in his video does not mean you're not desired out here, and let's not act like skin color is indicative of beauty. Lil' mama is ugly as hell.

If women embaraced their natural hair and took care of themselves you'd have way more sexy dark skinned chicks than mixed/lightskinned chicks bc there's more of them.
