First...Master P was from Oakland. The Bay area was popping before Wu.
Second...You acknowledging Wu popped before No Limit just proves my point. They were out there as a large, tight knit family FIRST and that resonates to this day.

Where all these interviews and lyrics? Where they at?

Doesn't matter if Bone made a "career" out of it. You dudes are claiming they started it. Which is false. And you claiming Slick Rick was horrible at it, just goes to prove how little you know about hip hop. Slick Rick, easily one of the GOATS :salute:

Ya'll Bone stans/Wu haters are mad. It's alright. Ya'll know the truth and it's killing ya'll. i don't know why. Just accept the Wu's legendary status in hip hop and keep it moving. You don't have to fukk wit htheir music. And dudes ain't trying to shyt on them neither. Again...damn near all of the guys that stated the fact that Wu are the bigger, better, and more legendary and influential group have also stated that they fukk with Bone Thugs also.

P was from Richmond.

Props to the dudes in here keeping it real now, like @mobbinfms, and @Ronnie Lott and @TheHomie. Thread is gradually turning into a legitimate thread now that the trollers ain't posting as much. I fukk with Bone too, but dudes were straight retard status acting like Wu were some time of local act and ain't LEGENDS in the game and still making some noise. Some of the shyt they were saying ain't really help ya'll argument at all, because they were straight up lies.

I know this, I never stated they weren't. I was just trying to point out how big they ARE in Cali. They're bigger out there than they are out here in NY. I really don't care how many of their fans are white, asian, whatever. Most BIG hip hop fans have predominantly white fan bases. Even Bone. Mind you, they are not as big as Wu but look at this thread. Two of the biggest trollers for Bone in here are cac bastids... @ReformedWigger and @CACtain Planet

nikka Im still waiting on the youtube clip of biz markie and slick rick singing on entire songs like Krayzie and Bizzy.. can you upload that?

as usual, new york nikkas do it first. The whole double time flow craze was born in Brooklyn too around 1988-89 cause of the dancehall influence.

Didn't that clip of Jaz and Jay double time rapping in 89 just drop?

Name a song in which Slick Rick is singing on entire song like Bizzy and Krayzie did

So that's Bone's calling card now? That's what you've been reduced to arguing? Not the first rapper to sing on a track, but the first to sing for a whole song? I guess BIG bit that with a player hater?

the only nikkas mad is wu stans who are irate that boom bap rap is irrelevant in rap today... Harmonizing, Singing, double flow, multi's dominates the industry today thanks to Bone :win:

So your saying Bone is responsible for how shytty hip hop is nowadays? There's a direct line from None to Nicki Minaj's Starships is what you're saying?

Tell that to your Bone bredren who swear up and down Bone were the first to rap fast, do the double time flow, sing and do multis in raps. These nikkas just making ya'll look bad with the delusional/straight up made up shyt.

Hip hop started in Cleveland! fukk is you stupid?? :deadmanny:

The first rappers to popularize it.. Wu didnt popularize any style musically that is still felt today.. Bone were the pioneers of this shyt.. and yes BIG attempted to bite with player hater and notorious thugs but we see how that worked out :birdman:

I admit..I've bumped more Wu than bone..guilty as charged..but I recently started bumping bone again in the beginning of this year..and all their songs sound fresh and relatable..grown man music,.i dont think I could go back to that childish liquid swords and Cuban linx era..a bunch of rapping about swords and poison darts by the door way don't it for me, like it did when I was a teenager..

Bone seems to stand the test of time..while Wu tang seems to be played out..I did really like that bobby digi packs for a few months..I think that was the last time I bumped WU...

But now when I look back at Wu..I think they were corny as fukk..just simply plain gimmicky..

One of the worst rappers of all time is in the Wu ala master killa..dude doesn't know how to rhyme words..he did have a few good verses about as far as the coroners know the autopsy show it was a Shaolin blow and another verse about poisonous darts by the door way ..on liquid swords...but dude is straight:trash: on the em eye cee and should be shot on sight IMO..wack ass nikka...

He makes wish look like a gawd..

I feel exactly the opposite. I could never here a Bone song again (except 'everyday thang') and be totally fine.

i still play Wu shyt like it's new and get the same rush. styles upon styles upon styles. bugged out, off kilter beats, wild slang, loud, angry monsterface rap.

Wu-Tang was the 90's culmination of the old school shyt all coming together for the most insane, perfect storm the genre has seen. if you were privy to that good stuff from the 80's than you caught the holy ghost when Wu came out. it was the 80's on steroids.

and Masta Killa is NICE. and i always liked Wish Bone too.
