There's a big difference between BCC and the Wu in terms of Mainstream recognition. That's why you selected BCC as your comparison. It was an apt comparison. Sure - BCC was big in the underground - but not in the mainstream. And you know that those terms had a different meaning in 94.
So at 8 years old (summer of 93) - you knew the ins and the outs of hip hop? You knew the context of what came before you? You understood how the business worked and you were savvy enough to figure out that certain records helped otherwise underground rappers to cross over? You also understood how artists were viewed nationwide - because you had an understanding of the dynamics of regionalism in hip-hop in the early 90s? At 8?

Let's make another thing clear - you don't know anything about me - other than what I've posted here. You don't know where I grew up - you don't know the demographics of my city. You don't even know what race I am. You don't know how long I've been listening to hip-hop or the breadth of my knowledge. You've jumped to conclusions because we hold different opinions on certain matters. You're speaking from ignorance.
I said you were knowledgeable and I still believe that. Your lack of knowledge isn't what makes you a clown - it's the way that you interact with people on here and the complete lack of respect that you are shown by others. Name one person on here (other than Art Barr) that's ever shown me even a hint of disrespect when it comes to debating the music?
And Big Mel's comment about "translating" Bone lyrics helps my argument because it shows that people do have idfficutly understanding their lyrics. Clearly you don't understand what you are talking about. I haven't claimed that no one can understand the lyrics - I've claimed that they are difficult to understnad because of poor enunciation. I guess that adds to the mystique of Bone at the end of the day.
