Breh. Stop it. All those early solo releases by Wu members were basically WuTang albums. And if you wanna be taken seriously, unlike the other dudes thats trolling in this thread, just admit that WuTang 36 Chambers and Forever are certified hip hop classics. They are mentioned with the Ready to Dies. The Doggystyles. The Illmatics. BE REAL NOW...how many times do you see E. 1999 and The Art of War with the certified hip hop classics? BE REAL NOW. I like Bone too, but BE REAL. Just because Wu are bigger than Bone, and have had a bigger impact on the game, don't mean that dudes are shyttin on Bone. It's just truth. They've had more classics and they still have a modicum of relevancy. It is what it is. Just cause you don't like Wu doesn't mean you can't acknowledge the huge impact they have had on the game. It's foolish and it's making ya'll look like unknowledgeable posters or trolls.

This is the point I was making, although I don't think Forever is held in as high a regard as 36.

Back in 97 I didn't even need to go to summer school. I just picked up that Wu-Tang double CD and got all the education I needed that year.

NY bias has written Bone out of hip hop history. I remember some show on MTV stating the highest selling rap acts, and Bone was no where on there, yet they had a Missy and Ja Rule with album sells (at the time) of 3-4 million. And this was after 2000.

It's funny because mad rappers (not including Twista of course) started attempting the fast flow around 1998-99.

It went Gold, a shytty throwaway track, was just as impactful as their highest selling single which was Cream

Sales and impact are not synonymous. And the white kids bone name was Powder Bone right?

We should be talking about classic songs - not those that charted the highest. Both groups sold a lot of records.

With Wu, you count solo shyt from the initial run. They're unique in that way. They were designed to be featured as solo sets under the group guise.

Now get upset and frown. It makes me happy.

But even as the Wu Tang Clan, cream, protect ya neck, m.e.t.h.o.d. Man, can it be all so simple, Wu tang clan ain't nothing at fukk wit, chessboxin & triumph are all "rap hits" that still count today.

Not taking away anything from Bone's singles, but they aren't as legendary as the songs Mel just rattled off.

So NY bias wrote Bone Thugs out of history but not Missy and other non-NY artists? :aicmon: You dudes are ridic

That's because it's not. It's fall prey to the curse of every rap double album: too much filler.

But there's no doubt that if you take the best 12-13 tracks from Forever, it's just as good as 36 Chambers.

Im a yungin(20) so i can only speak for my age group but for those guys Ny nikkaz in that age group fcked with bone thugs more than they did Wu...and still remember Bone tracks more than Wu tracks

Yeah - if there's one thing NY hip hop heads were known for in the early 90s it was their willingness to give music from other regions a shot.

How did I think I was gonna rack up stats..I say whatever's on my mind and I don't care if someone made this post years ago on sohh...I've never been on sohh and I don't even really know what that is..I wasn't trying to have hella replies about the same old shyt..

The fact is bone are superior rappers..double time rhyming is the hardest skill and they mastered that, along with singing..not too many rappers can rap like that..only the elite..

I win

The "facts" you cite are your opinions. And they are not held by a majority of hip hop fans. You are on the fringe here.
