My cousin had the Trap or Die mixtape and it was all he could talk about. This was 4th quarter of 2004 with a whole lot of albums that had just dropped. "So Icey" was in rotation and "Ova Here" was making its rounds. I remember him collecting any and everything Jeezy. He was like "what features does he have". I'm like he's on the new Fabolous album. He was like "yeah, that had to be the song Jeezy was talking about on Rap City". Boyz N Da Hood dropped and it was evident that this group was just launch pad for Jeezy as he clearly already the star. Jody Breeze had buzz too, but nothing like Jeezy. But yeah, Jeezy had a snowball (no pun) effect and then he dropped TM101, which was the pinnacle of everything and it really catapulted Jeezy and we really saw the evolution from T.I.'s Trap Muzik to TM101.
