To me, my board!
I know the other studios would kill to have movies that “flopped” like Phase 4
Just wanted to see if you knew since you talked about someone else making excuses for "flops" when they talked about "Black Widow" being released on Disney+ the same day then brought up the same excuses for "The Batman".
The Batman and Dr. Strange MoM both had 45 day movie releases before they hit streaming. It's the same. Don't let his lies slide. lolJust wanted to see if you knew since you talked about someone else making excuses for "flops" when they talked about "Black Widow" being released on Disney+ the same day then brought up the same excuses for "The Batman".
Define flop because I think every movie in phase 4 besides Black Widow turned a profit. And now they've had an entire phase flop before our eyes

The Batman is still in theaters. lolNot true. Dr. Strange 2 has been in theaters the whole time. 'The Batman' was removed from 95% of theaters by day 45

Why do I need an excuse? They all did well.@AnonymityX1000 what's your excuse for Eternals/Shang Chi/Thor: Love & Thunder?

Sorry, I am not typing as feverishiously as you. loli see @AnonymityX1000 wants to ignore the last post. What's your excuse for Eternals? Shang Chi? Thor: Love & Thunder?
Promise?We done here....
See, you're talking about one movie. I'm talking about a string of guaranteed, financially successful movies. Studios would kill for that sort of thing.Top Gun already over $1.3B with a full theater run. The potential is there for movies to clear a bill if enough people want to see them. Tom Cruise fought for Top Gun to do a full theater run because Paramount originally wanted a 45-day window (same as 'The Batman' from WB).
So there's really no excuse why a movie w/ a full theater run can't have great success.. Covid hasn't shut anything down recently.
