All I suggested to the threadstarter was to be wary of the water that you drink and pay attention to Who is preparing your food and how it is prepared.

A few friends have gotten sick in India and they weren't living in squalor or around people in squalor.

Every Indian person I know (from the bay atleast), says the same thing.

I'm not trying to talk dude out of going. He will go and it will be life changing

I wouldn't drink water from any country you are not native too nor eat their meat unless it is kosher/halal, and even then that's a stretch.

Real shyt... Even when I was in Spain I was drinking bottled water.

I think the majority of the world is like this tho. I dont drink tap water either. I dont even know anyone who does, that shyt smell like the swimming pool

The smell will most likely be bad, I mean folks think curry is bad and thats pretty much what they eat, and we all know curry lasts forever. but if curry doesn't bother you, or goat, then you might be alright til you venture out into the outskirts.....
