My job has tried to have me go to Bangalore to do some training a few times over the last 5 years. A few of my other black co workers have gone and generally enjoyed the experience. I never went cause I have a bunch of kids and didn't want to spend 2-3 months away like that. They give us apartments and drivers etc so it's not like you have to wander around alone in public either. But I've def heard the stories about the staring and rudeness from a lot of the older or poorer Indians.
But the westernized chicks in their 20's and early 30's
. There are so many bad ones working for our company over there. And a couple of the Breh's ate well on the Low. But that's only from the ones that he met thru work, that would slide through to "hangout" or "cook a meal" after they got off work. But out in the streets in general there was not much action to be had as a lone black man. If you're rolling with a group of Indians tho, they you can meet new folks that way cause they're anxious to show off their american friend.
My youngest is 6 now, so next time I get a chance I think I"m going to jump on it if wifey is cool with it.
