still frustrated at last night. At home in the final. Early lead with Italy looking all over the place. This was the final to win.

The lack of tactical changes/ subs was comical. Italy weren't great last night but England after the first 30 mins barely made them work.

Mancini isn't even a great tactician historically and yet he was the one changing the match with his decisions. They had an entirely different front 3 by the end of the match while we still had a knackered Sterling and Kane.

Having said that, I'd be praising Southgate as a genius if Rashford scores that pen, as the momentum would have been with England from that point in the shootout

Southgate was gonna get found out eventually and yesterday he did. He’s 1-dimensional. No Plan B, no tactical versatility and no in-game management. So the signs were all there and people knew and saw it. They just didn’t want to ruin the moment and narrative and instead wanted to get carried away. But football fans knew what was comin. :francis:

Players were overworked cuz they had to play multiple positions. Kane was switching between winger, CAM, DM and striker all throughout. He was cooked. Sterling was camped in his own half throughout too and had to do defensive duties. So by the time they created a counter attack it was slow and lethargic cuz they were tired and had no options to pass to or open up play.

Players were also playin outta position. Mount is not a RW. Especially when you have natural left-footed wingers or wingers in Sancho & Rashford. Foden was injured, Grealish i feel is suited more as a #10 and Saka came on and played as a RWB.

Its sad cuz Italy were there for the taking especially in extra time. The team that finished for italy was nowhere near their starting 11. So the game should’ve never went to penalties.

Its just fukkin sickening seein what is bein said out there about the brehs :pacspit:

They were all full of praise when england won games and got to the final. Saka was a starboy and people were asking why both Sancho and Rashy weren’t playing. It was all “the country has never been more unified” and “its coming home” till AET last night.

Saggy skinned, crooked ass yellow teeth, inbred cac devils. :pacspit:

And the fukkin media too :pacspit:

After mancini put Immobile to the sword, Italy looked fluid.
Southgate Leaving Kane on for the entirety of the game was purely commercial - absolutely nothing to do with football.

Mancini was very aggressive with his substitutions cuz he didn’t want to lose and go to penalties.

It was 1-1 and mancini made his first 2 substitutions in the 54th minute. That wasn’t even 10 mins after the start of the 2nd half.

Meanwhile, Southgate did his first in the 71st minute..:heh:

At the end of the day...we talkin about a man that coached and won the prem with Man Citeh and coached and won the Serie A with Inter Milan versus a bum dude that managed the England U21’s and relegated Middlesbrough. :mjlol:

It was never comin home. :unimpressed:

The Arsenal

He asked Saka to take one Saka said yes. You can see Grealish in the video right there. You guys acting like he was forced at gunpoint to take it. He stepped up and he missed, its unfortunate now because he'll be blamed but credit to him for having the courage to step up

the takers and the order is already on the paper. he's probably asking them if they're ready.

a joy and relief to see Italy win it. well deserved.
as soon as Italy decided to play through Veratti the game changed.

Emerson was frustrating as hell. Spina plays, Italy win that in the 90.
also, if only Italy had a striker that suited the system they play.

that poor kid from Arsenal, hung out to dry by his coach and teammates.

that English team for the most part come across well
but most of the (white) English population in general are disgusting, ugly creatures that deserve nothing but misery. fukk them.

I agree breh, southgate didn't trust rashford or sancho all tourney. Yet in the most important game with a few minutes left he subs them in and lets them take penalties :dahell:

It's like in basketball being the 12th man and you haven't played all series, game 7 final play and coach subs you in and the play being drawn is for you to shoot a 3 pointer :dahell:

All facts..They should have brought Grealish, Sancho and Rashford on at half time and gone for the kill. They could easily have scored a 2nd on the counter attack and killed the game off. Italy had 2 OAPs in central defence and they were barely troubled at all. Not to mention Sterling, Mount, Kane etc were all but out on their feet

All this analysis of England is all well and good but you’ll never be a free-flowing team with a struggle midfield like Rice and Phillips.

As soon as Bellingham is in the team i’m sorry to inform the rest of the world that it’s over for them, I wouldn’t even bother turning up to the 2022 WC, just hand England the trophy.:manny:

problem with Southgate is he's a numbers man. Very organised but doesn't adapt. Saka was clearly killing it in training with the pens and that's why he was chosen. Southgate after the game said he based pen selection on who did best in training practise

But Southgate and he knows best from 1996, is there is more factors involved than just who can do it on a training ground, and last pen to a kid in a Euro final isn't going to work. Secondly I never liked bringing players on to take a pen. There is too much pressure on them then. Rashford and Sancho thinking i have to score as I've literally been brought on to score in a shootout and nothing else

Can't wait for Bellingham to get a run in the side. England been dying for a proper CM for years. If his development continues and Foden and Sancho feature more then England will be in the top 6 sides at the World Cup.
