Players were overworked cuz they had to play multiple positions. Kane was switching between winger, CAM, DM and striker all throughout. He was cooked. Players were also playin outta position. Mount is not a RW. Especially when you have natural left-footed wingers or wingers in Sancho & Rashford. Foden was injured, Grealish i feel is suited more as a #10 and Saka came on and played as a RWB.
Its sad cuz Italy were there for the taking especially in extra time. The team that finished for italy was nowhere near their starting 11. So the game should’ve never went to penalties.
