Absolutely not.

As i'm playing Persona 5 right now, the battle system is so damn smooth and looks stylish as fukk.

I absolutely love the way it looks and plays so far.

Nah.

Just look at the JRPGs that strive last gen:

Lost Odyssey
Valkyria Chronicles
Ni No Kuni

All those games are turn-based.

Let's also not forget that Dragon Age and Fallout are hybrid of action-RPG and turn-based.

Companies are just being ass assuming that turn-based are dead. Just look at handhelds. They completely dominated in that category.

If there is genre that I want dead, it's those generic lame ass cac shooters and :trash: hollywood like AAA games.

Turn base is trash in 2016. In any kind of battle there's no waiting. You wait, you get faded. Not hold on lemme get my weapon ready. fukk is that

You realize that table top RPGs are turn-based, right? Their gameplay is akin to board games and if you don't get it, then its not my problem. :camby:

Persona 5 would have been an action RPG now if its mechanics wasn't really successful. So is Pokemon and Fire Emblem.
