Don't understand the this notion of "being uniquely affected..."

Africans were uniquely colonized on their homeland and forced to speak a different language alien to their contient and respective ethnicity.

Black is the race,but every person who is classified as Black" in this country are not African American. If you're a direct descendant of chattel slavery (DoCS) in this country,you ARE African American. Simple

For Example: A 1st generation black immigrant CANNOT be classified as AA in this land. Nigerian Americans,Jamaican Americans, Somali Americans, Haitian Americans, Ghanaian Americans CANNOT be African Americans.

A lot of African Americans don't even identify themselves as African American.....they use Black as the ethnic term.

The thing is, the type of AAs who typically don't even use the term AA - usually refer to themselves as "black" and use "black" as an all-encompassing umbrella term when describing other ethnic groups as well.
