Are 5 days that big of a difference than 3?

So it is a big difference then? So if I do the same exact workouts but I do more on the 3 days, 5 days is still better, Thing is what if I’ve been trying 5 days for years, but never could be consistent, Would it be wise to keep trying that?
I mean at some point you have to answer that for yourself. Are you making progress in your opinion?

I did just notice you mentioned muscle gain combined with fat loss which for the average person is just spinning wheels because you aren’t going to make a lot of muscle gaining combined with fight loss. It’s not impossible but for the average gym goer..........

You probably need to figure out what is most important because I don’t think you have that sorted out. You may but you aren’t giving a lot of details to pull from.

Ok, right now I want to lose fat, but I don’t like working out 5 days a week, there’s days I either can’t or don’t want to work out and it’s not flexible, I like 3 days because it’s flexible, but I don’t want it to stall my progress a lot if I go 3 instead of 5.

3 days with 2 days of LISS Cardio (Walking) can yield results

I’m tryna lose hella fat, like 30-50 pounds as quick as I can.

I think I’ll be more consistent with 3 days because it’s more flexible, but I know with 5 days I can eat more and it’ll probably make me lose weight faster.
Ironically, trying to drop weight hella fast is the worst way to do it.

Just set a regular routine you can stick to and watch your caloric intake, cut out sugar and high cholestorol shyt. It's basically just a lifestyle change, or else you're gonna end up putting even more weight back on. Because people get on these high-protein diets because they work out all the time, then they stop going to the gym, but they keep eating the same stuff and get :flabbynsick:

What makes me fat is fast food, I could eat sugar and drink it, but if I had home cooked meals I always lost weight without counting any calories.

Imma focus more on calories than protein because like you said you said you eat too much and stop working out you get fat, and that’s what happened to me and I worked out 7 days a week, not I don’t wanna do it at all lol.

Before I used to be fine eating a lot of calories and doing some type of workout, I kept thinking it’s good I’m eating a lot because it’s protein, but the scale kept rising.

So I said fukk protein, I need to lose weight so I’m counting a majority of my calories.

The 2 days you don't feel like going to the gym just do push ups at home.

You should be doing home exercises the other 3 days to supplement your gym days :usure:

Facts

And it’s so simple

just go get a pull-up bar,do some pull-ups,pushups,dips and bodyweight squats for about 45 minutes straight and you good

its hard for me to be consistent going to the gym 5 times a week, there’s only so many days you can miss, and when I do my week of working out is fukked.

With 3 days i have so much more flexibility and can be more consistent, but I wanna know is there a big difference going 3 days instead of 5 with muscle gain and fat loss?

Get a trainer. He or she can show you exactly what and when to do so you can stop contemplating and focus on your program/goals 100 percent.

I’m getting there with the diet lost 3-4 pounds.

Yeah I never feel like going, but at least with 3 I can go one day then take 2 off and finish off the week. I love that!! But I hope it doesn’t make weight loss slower.

You gonna have a rough time:huhldup:

I doubt you getting the work in to make the 3 days count..

Have you ever thought about taking a boxing or combat class?

I have, it’s been a minute I feel too old and flabby to box lol.

It’s more about lifting weights 5 times a week, not exercise itself. I can lift weights 3 times and the other two or the same day I can ball.

For fat loss, id say diet and intensity are way more important than total number of days in the gym.

Like someone else said, throwing in a walk day, or two would be benefical as well.

It should be noted as well, that the harder you work in the gym, the more hungry you will become. So, depending on your level dedication less days in the gym could be better for your overall goals.

jmo, not an expert.
