I approached one dime yesterday

I introduced myself then turned to face the bar for a split second

And some dikkheads talking to her

So he gets rejected swiftly and I continue and now he’s blown up my play making the bytch feel special

I asked for number and she gave me air. I just dismissed her before she could finish what she was saying. bytch was fire tho 10/10 coli standards but an 8 to me

A 35 y/o grown man shouldn’t be “scared” to approach a female. Social media got you dudes f’d up. You realize before 2009-2010 this is how normal life was right? How tf you think dudes were bagging p*ssy back then? By talking to em

Breh 75% of this thread is amish....the other 25% is scandavian......whole different scene.

I’m 6’4, and def intimidating.

He didn’t do it intentionally tbf. Coz I said sutn like ‘hey you alright’ and then turned my back to her to order my drink or sutn.. and he just came tru thinking she was unoccupied (which she was)…

For context, I was at an event with like 4000+ people.

@OP you should really try going to a big event, so you can hone your skills. Talking to countless chicks

Today I saw an absolutely beautiful girl wandering around Target just casually browsing for things. First time I passed her I smiled politely and kept it moving. Second time I ran into her she was looking at books. I would have hated myself if I didn't say anything because this is a perfect opening for me as I am a big fan of literature.

I asked her what types of books she reads. She said a little of everything but these days mostly romantasy. She blushes a little bit and says that it's her guilty pleasure. I name drop an author in that genre and ask if that's who she's talking about (Sarah j maas). She laughs and says she's read her but that's not really her thing. She is definitely not local so I ask her if she's visiting. She says yes she's only here for one more day.. I ask where she's headed back to and she says. L A. but she's not born there. (Her volunteering this information led me to believe that she was interested in this conversation). I ask where she was born (seemed like the logical follow up question). She said France (she looked like a light skin black/white chick with freckles). I said wow that's really cool are you a wembanyama fan? (I wanted to punch myself in the face as soon as I said it):martin:. She says she has no idea who that is, so I explained it a little bit and she said that's cool but she hasn't watched basketball in a long time because she's so busy with her job. I asked what she does and she said she's a flight attendant which is why she's leaving tomorrow. I said that seems like a really interesting job, theoretically, but it must be really grueling and exhausting always on the move like that. She agreed and told me a bit about the pros and cons of her job and how she doesn't think she can do this forever but has appreciated the opportunities to travel, especially to places like Hawaii. I asked her what her ethnicities were because I was curious. She said she's Mexican but lived in France before coming to America, hence her accent (I couldn't detect any accent).

[At this point I mentally talked myself out of asking her for her number since she's leaving tomorrow anyway. I now regret this majorly.]

At this point I heard her phone vibrating and she was glancing at it in her hand. I got a little uncomfortable and I told her it was really nice talking to her and I hope that she has a good trip back. I smiled and she smiled back and said "thanks! It was nice talking to you too". I said "it was nice talking to you too!" (I grimaced inwardly because I had already said this). I then walked away and went to the electronics section :mjcry:

Overall I am happy that I talked to her because if I'm being honest to me she was a 9/10 and normally I wouldn't have even talked to her but she was looking at books which gave me an opening. I'll take this as a win in the overall scheme of things because I tried and it went better than I expected even if I didn't close the deal :yeshrug:

Don't go to meet females. Go, get comfortable in your surroundings and enjoy yourself. That brings confidence. All else follows. Think that's corny. Sound like bs, huh?

Females can sense desperation. Even if you think you're hiding it. You've been warned.

Dap + rep :banderas:

Good job breh! There will be other opportunities. ABC (always be closing). Even with her leaving you could’ve asked if she wanted to go out tonight etc etc… or keep her info for the future

it's always a thrill to even connect with someone traveling. and, for sure, a lot of those interactions exist only in that moment, and that's ok. Reading is major connection for me too.

take the convo somewhere quicker, because of where you are talking. Don't rush it, but just be aware of the time. Less is more. Unless the chemistry is really really strong, like forgetting time is passing, both people will be aware that they need to move on. It's just human nature. Esp. Americans. Busy. Busy. Busy.

after you connect on books, and maybe another 20 seconds of conversation, just ask. Say anyone I meet that looks as good as you and reads, I have to ask out, because there's not that many. or there's not enough for me. and just laugh it off like it's not a big deal. because it's not. And her reaction will tell you everything. You won't have to do anything else. it's direct, it's not a cheesy line, it's genuine.

Lots of people make the mistake of just babbling on and on and then evaporate a lot of any of the sexual tension/chemistry, and then it does it get awkward. If you were seated on a plane, or together at a coffee shop, go ahead and ramble for however long, but somewhere like the Target book section, less than 3-5 minutes at most. and 5 minute is A LOT for that interaction.

I fcks with it.
Good job. Great practice.

But u can cut that convo sht short. She already knew if she would give u the number of not when she saw u.
So using the fan of literature thing was a good intro. But every word after that needs to get u back to the point of asking about getting her number or her taking urs.
And too much talking might get u more nervous, and deeper into a conversation even though she wasn't gonna give u the number anyway.

I always say this, ull never talk ur way into some p*ssy (her liking u). But ull definitely talk ur way out of some p*ssy (her being turned off by u).
So keep it short
IMO
