I'm all for entry level workers making more money, but it's a shell game. The stuff we have shouldn't cost this much; cellphones...wtf does an iPhone 13 do that a iPhone 6 doesn't do? Housing, none of this shyt should cost what it does...

Companies are gonna acquiesce somewhat, but they're just gonna pass the costs back onto the consumer and $30 an hour will not be $30 an hour in a few years. It's a stupid shell game.

Retail work is the bottom of the barrel. If you want to make $30+/hr get a skill the pays a commensurate wage.

They (RNs) should get paid more in 2022. A lot more. $30 ain't enough. Should be $65 an hour.

Unfortunately many don’t, depending on the field of nursing the person is in. Like I mentioned I started at 28.50, quit my staff job at $32/hr for travel. So $30/hr for retail would legitimately place a lot of careers in perspective as far as how much the career is worth. I’m personally all for it, shyt needs to change. And price of living ain’t getting cheaper. I hope these workers get closer to 30.

Noticed I said as a NEW GRAD. I know my field, when it comes to getting raises in nursing…..I wonder if overtime is factored into this figure. Also I’m in a lot of social media nursing group where nurses in claim to make less then 25/hr in certain states. This is the main reason why there is a shortage.

I wish I knew how to post some of these facebook groups
But one of these nurses are claiming to have made $19.10/hr in 2017.

These employees arent even asking for that much of it. They only asking for an extra 15 dollars per hour, just 20k per year more than they get now.

Also, most people are already making $15 in apple jobs. They only need 15 more. LIKE I SAID EARLIER, the 2nd largest corporation in the world could divide it's 425billion profit by it's 290,000 employees and everyone would get 1.4Mil each. These employees aren't even asking for that. They only need an extra 30k.


That is literally less than 1% of their profits last year. These other mega corps are doing the same thing.
