TBH I agree with the no plug as I’ve got a lot of USB-C ones for my iPhone and Bose headphones. Never used my audio cable, the whole point is Apple is trying to be as cable free as possible.

Agreed, they need to be touch though.

As for the price they will be competing with B&O which are about $700 and a few other brands. The proof will be in the pudding

I’ve been watching review and unboxing videos of this on YouTube and I’m not gonna lie, it actually looks pretty good and the features such as connecting over airplay instead of Bluetooth which gives superior sound is tempting
