I probably asked this already but yo is the MacBook Air M1 2020 any good? Thinking about copping I can get it for 7 bills

I’m coming from a 2014 MacBook pro that I upgraded the ram and storage

yes it's still very good (probably best battery life of ANY laptop). for $700, that's a great purchase.

any laptop with apple silica is :fire:

FYI, u can essentially get a "new" one from apple refurbished website for $850 which is fully warranteed with a new battery for the 256GB model.

Updated all three of my Apple devices (iPad, M1 MBP, Plus) to 16/16.1. Turned on stage manager, for my iPad, and played around with it for about five minutes. Turned it back off. Boring ass update.
yeah i did the same
everyone was so mad it was only on certain ipads but after using it I'm unimpressed :mjlol:
knowing apple we're missing a big chunk of the real vision so I'll wait to see what the real stage manager is supposed to be

Okay, so, I just turned on stage manager for my MBP. I have my MBP mounted to a 27 inch monitor. What I will say is that SM makes so much more sense when using MacOS. Switching from app to app is as easy as hovering my mouse pointer over to the left side of the screen and picking which app I want to interact with. It displays the most recently used app. Its so much more seamless than looking at the dock, at the bottom of the screen, and picking which app I want. I really like SM for MacOS. On the iPad, like I said, it just doesn't make as much sense.
