M2 MBP's are just a spec increase. I wouldn't get too excited. the M1 Pro MBP's are still overkill.

I wanted to get the Ipad Pro 11, but I only see a $50 difference from the original price. It was actually $70 cheaper just a couple weeks ago on Amazon. I was even debating getting a used/like new one (almost $150 cheaper), but I’m not sure if I should pull the trigger or just wait until it drops back down in price.

My bad I didn’t look at the 11. I only checked he other one. Idk if the inventory will still be around for Black Friday so I’m debating pulling the trigger on it now.

He's not worth it to make purchase decisions from what he says but he's entertaining to watch. He does good demos on how a product functions but a lot of stuff ends up being a triple major go and some of it never gets revisited long term.

Actually you should check out the refurbished section on the Apple Store. I got a MacBook from there back in 2016 and still using it today.

I just brought an M1 iPad Pro from Best Buy. I’m gonna swap it for the M2 version on Wednesday simply for future proofing.

I keep my Pro’s for at least for 4-5 years so this will be my main computing device for a good min

also, the ipad is still not viable as a laptop replacement. even with the keyboard. unless ipad os 16 blows me away, I highly doubt that changes.

I primarily use my ipad to consume media when I'm in the shower or in the kitchen cooking and/or eating.

Runs better and consistently for quality so you won’t get those drops

only issue I run into occasionally via wifi is on my apple tv HD that's in my bed room. and that's only cuz it's trying to get wifi signal on the 2nd floor from the basement router.

For me I don’t need much. I can upload/download files, write scripts, use Zoom, and browse the web via Safari. Thats all I really NEED out of a laptop at this point in time so the iPad Pro serves my needs
