Imma just wait till the phone goes usb c. I rarely charge my remote like that.
yeah on second thought I don't know because the $149 version has the thread support and the Ethernet port but I could just wait
so I might just wait until these drop in price next year

so the basic iPad still can't use the new Apple Pencil so apple's answer is this
The USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter is required to pair and charge Apple Pencil (1st generation) with iPad (10th generation). Your Apple Pencil plugs into one end of the adapter and the USB-C Charge Cable from your iPad plugs into the other.

just came across my feed as well. didn't know they were gonna drop without an event, but the new standard ipad has FINALLY been redesigned to match the rest of the lineup :obama:

speaking of touch ID, why does that feature NOT exist on the iphone. especially the iphone pro models??

bout time they put the camera on the long side so u can use it in landscape mode.

Wait…so only the Magic Keyboard Folio, for the 10th Gen iPads have media keys? The ones for the new Pros seem not to…wow😤

Edit: I think I know why. As soon as I saw the new MKF for the 10th Gen iPads, I immediately headed over to Apple with the intention of buying the MKF for the new 11inch Pro since it’d be compatible with my 2020 11inch Pro. This was all under the assumption that the MKF for the new Pros would also have media keys. I planned on buying the new MKF since I plan on keeping my iPad for a few more years. I’m sure Apple knew there’d be people like me out here with the same intentions, and that they’d need to provide motivation to upgrade to future iPad Pros once they finally do add media keys to the MKF for the Pro lineup. Just another money grab from Apple.

Yeah after more research I’m fine with the current apple tv i have
New base model doesn’t have thread support, Ethernet port, and the hdr 10+ doesn’t matter that much
2021 model has thread support, Ethernet port, and hdr 10
i would have to pay twice the price to get ”more”

I have 3 apple tv's right now, but the one in my room is a regular HD one. if I ever end up replacing that one (once I get another 4K TV), I'd definitely get the non-ethernet version since I only have ethernet in my basement anyways.
