I can't begin to imagine this movie with Will as Django. He is an ok actor, but I tend to keep away from watching his movies outside of comedy

If Will Smith would've committed he could've been a great Django, but Jamie Foxx would have had turned out equally as great.

If it wasn't for Will Smith, there wouldn't BE a black hero grossing $200 million at the box office. Will Smith has already proven he can act (Six Degrees Of Separation, Ali, Pursuit Of Happyness, even I Am Legend) and he's stepped out of his usual boundaries before. He wanted to do Django but he was already contractually bound to do MIB3. Respect the Gawd Will Smith

Will Smith has already proven he can act (Six Degrees Of Separation, Ali, Pursuit Of Happyness, even I Am Legend) and he's stepped out of his usual boundaries before. When I heard he do MIB3 and I was rolling my eyes like seriously again?.....He needs to do something different so now MIB3 cost him for not doing Django.
I Am Legend is weak, IMO. Ali was okay but he did pretty good job as Ali but the movie itself was okay, not great. Six Degrees of Separation was good movie, he nailed it but again, he was young. Pursuit of Happyness is a great movie and had us :TO:

Tarentino has been on point with his villains in the past two flicks though. Hans Landa, Stephen and Calvin Candie were some complex evil ass people.

young denzel would have killed in this role. jamie was aight, but i feel like the white boys had more memorable characters. i feel sorry for anyone who say they are empowered by this. that is a pretty low f ing bar to hurdle. blazing saddles was better. movie was a solid 7 or 8 outta 10. dr king was the best character.
