Though it may have been fun to some of you to watch QT's Slave Fantasy World, I recommend people also watch a movie dealing with real Slave Reality. Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" takes place 7 years after the story of "Django" and tells the story of Lincoln's struggle during the Civil War and Freeing Blacks in America. The whole movie deals with this struggle and really puts in perspective that if it was up to some in America, there would probably still be slaves today. Yes like "Django", "The N-word" was used in "Lincoln" but never in a joking way. I wasn't keeping count but subconsciously my mind did, lol. In "Lincoln" the n-word was used 5 times. Anyways it's an interesting movie to see to understand the politics of Slavery and why so many in America wanted it to continue. But it also shows that there were Whites back then that understood what was going on was wrong and it had to stop.
What was the point of Sheba?
I'm trying to tell yall he shot him because he had the gun up his sleeve and he couldnt shake without revealing the gun, its the only explanation that makes sense!!
Candie's top comfort girl. And she's fine as fukk, so why complain?
I know that you may be talking about something completely different at this point in the thread.
However, in regards to the ridiculous argument that's been going on for a few pages, I only have one thing to say.
Django Unchained...
...is a Western...
...about slavery.
Slavery is not just a side point like the Civil War in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. It is the focal point of the entire film.
It's a Western about slavery just as Roots is a drama about slavery. Yes, it's a Western just like The Proposition was a Western even though its set in Australia.
So much stupidity on both sides of this argument it's baffling.

Anybody read about the scene where Leo wipes his blood in Kerry's face. That wasn't in the script. He cut his hand for real, was really bleeding. They kept shooting, he wiped his bloody hand all over her face. Saw some people online upset about that. I'm sure QT discussed it with the actors and everybody was cool with it to keep it in the movie. Kerry was looking pretty damn horrified.
