You're a dumba$$...that's totally different situation. Haven't you seen Dave doing a blind white supremacist who is not aware that he is actually a black man skit?. Dave would have no problem what Sam is doing with role and Sam nailed cause it's happened in the slavery time and he wasn't mocking black people......Dave's problem was that he doesn't like to wear a dress to be funny, tried formula of black man acting like an angry black woman to score cheap wear a dress to be funny.

that wasn't his issue, dumba$$

Overall, I didn't like the movie very much, or as much as I would have liked to enjoy it, but Samuel Jackson killed it, I was laughing, more then any other scenes, probably because I couldn't stop thinking of the posts on here and other forums, from black posters, (assuming), 'Jackson was c00ning it up' 'his c00nery knew no bounds'...thats the kind of boundary pushing humor and acting that I expected from the rest of the movie, and I felt overall it didn't deliver. The dialogue, also, wasn't up to QT standards, imo. Too many conversations that went nowhere, or served little purpose.

No one was laughing at that other shyt. The Mandingo fight scene is the only part that bothered me. He put too much emphasis on it.

A nikka was running around killin' white folks and you complainin' about them saying nikka. This is the closest we'll get to watching some Nat Turner shyt.

The theater I was in there were people laughing at the other shyt. He has a point.

I see a lot of people raving about how funny the movie is and I just want to know what's so funny about slavery? The fact that so many whites are loving this movie and that it's even getting critical acclaim, pretty much tells me that it's on some c00n shyt.

from another thread, but possibly the BEST EXPLANATION of the handshake refusal

As far as the dogs go, I don't think Candie would have fed the slave to the dogs if Shultz and Django didn't jump in. Maybe the slave would have got whipped or put in the "hot box" for running away, but it wasn't until Shultz agreed to pay Candie $500 and Django stopped him that Candie felt the need to try and call their bluff. Candie was asking the slave how he was suppose to get his money back and when Shultz offered to buy the slave off, Candie seemed ok with the idea of getting his money back but when Django said that Shultz was only doing it because he was tired of watching Candie tease the slave and they weren't interested, Candie felt the need to see if either of them would buckle and pay up at the last minute when he ordered the dogs to be turned loose again.

As for the hand shaking scene, once again I think Candie just wanted the last word and upper hand on what all was going on. He just had an earful said to him by Shultz and there would be no way in hell that he would just allow Shultz to get away with it in his house with all of his servants around. Hence, he wanted to make sure everyone knew he still had the power by allowing Broomhilda to be shot if Shultz didn't do as he said. The main thing with Candie was wanting to be top and not taking anything from anybody.

remember, schultz did have flashbacks to that very scene before the handshake offer

i'm saying you cannot COMMENT or question how people calling it funny without actually seeing it yourself.
I don't need to see the movie to make the comment that I made. If a movie about slavery makes white people comfortable enough to laugh at it, then it's on some c00n shyt. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Hey, a lot of the blaxploitation films were "funny", doesn't mean that they weren't offensive and used to perpetuate the status quo which is white supremacy.

That's because you're a dumb low self esteem having c00n who doesn't see the big picture when it comes to things. White play chess, c00ns like you play checkers.
