pretty amazing stuff

it lumbered for a bit, but all in all its a quality movie with amazing acting. Waltz is a gem, dude can flat out act.

the bag scene was definately the modern version of the exploding head, that came out of nowhere and was hilarious

Wasn't it Stephen who said that? If you got a problem with that, then you must not anything that comes out of Uncle Ruckus's mouth.

If that's the scene I remember when they get to Candieland, I think people were laughing at what Stephen or Candie was saying, not at the 3 slaves running back into the field. I have to watch the movie again.

LOTS of spoilers in the following paragraph. I highly recommend those who haven't seen this movie to just skip it.

It was Stephen who made the biggest fuss about Django being treated like a white man on the arrival to Candieland. It was Stephen who discovered the plot to capture Brumhilda and inform Candie that he was being tricked. And it was Stephen who essentially captured Django and almost sent him back into slavery. So yeah, he's gets to be the last villain (Ain't no "" about it nikka, he was evil.) to die. He's also the last to die because he's the first (and only) negro Django had to kill. Plus everyone knew there was gonna be more fukkery with Stephen half-pleading and half-cussing Django out. shyt was hilarious.

If a whole book could be written surely you can sum up what was wrong with the speech in 3 sentences. And even if it is wrong, you gotta remember that it's 1860 and slavemasters probably had a deluded view on the cranial structure of the typical black man.

Thank god you attacked his bullshyt paragraph so I don't have to. Some motherfukkers just can't be satisfied, and some nikkas walk into situations looking for shyt to take offense to. It's "reality". :stopitslime:

Don Johnson's getup as Big Daddy :krs:

i was in a pretty white part of NJ, but the crowd was 70% black id guess. tons of laughs, and an applause at the end which is kind of old school you dont hear that much these days. everyone seemed to have a really good time, there were some tough scenes to take of course but it was well received

As long as people don't forget what happen to our ancestors during slavery and do not take it lightly or jokingly or a mockery, I could care less what one should think about this film.

Definitely agree with this statement right here.

Saw this yesterday...My self and the other blackfolk in there with me seemed to throughly enjoy it though this sister stting next to me did seem to cringe during the Mandingo fight scene...you can tell some white people felt uneasy s by certain momments in the film...In particular this middle aged white woman witting infront of me(with her husband) was obviously  when the audience was laughing at the KKK not beeing able to see through their white sheets scene she got up and left but later was :russ: at the parts when Leo found colorful ways to use the word ****** and when the redneck was getting ready to castrate Djangos .

I would probably give it a solid 7.5(on a scale of 10) All it was pretty good but some gripes I have are the action sometimes(specifically Mandingo shooting it out with an calvary of kaks)sometimes felt too unbelievable/overtop even by action movie standards,I men I could understand if he methodically took them all out a few at a time but this dude was going to war with an army unscathed on some Black Rambo ish, adding on to my last point non of the villians really put up much a a fight, it would be nice to have nice to see time spent on Django going on side missions/adventures before reaching the Candey Land Plantation or atleast have him kill his enemies a few at a time at different locations which would have been more believable, they never explained how dude knew exactly where the overseeer gang was hilding his wife was after he escaped from that Australian slave traders, how they gone show Jamie ass out but not not let Djaango blow out the back of his wife at the very least if not some of the other fine negresses on different the planations. presented the perfect opportunity several times? I wasn't feeling Django grieving after the German died either.

Other than that the film was straight..I might see it again..

It was when Django was hanging upside down, and Stephen was telling him where he was being sent. He had me weak at that part too.
