Not sure what's the point of this thread. What does a monument means for the black population? Go to places like Dominican Republic, Brazil, Cuba, and you will see black people are treated like trash. I'm sure they would change those monuments for better opportunities.
Can we not have both

Not sure what's the point of this thread. What does a monument means for the black population? Go to places like Dominican Republic, Brazil, Cuba, and you will see black people are treated like trash. I'm sure they would change those monuments for better opportunities.

I can guarantee you that black people are treated much worse in USA than in Brazil, DR or Cuba. You shouldn't talk about places you know nothing about and haven't traveled to.

You would be surprised...
