Thing is Hollywood tries their damndest to portray the black male in the most effeminate roles as possible. Jai White exudes way too much testosterone and sex appeal like his white Alpha-male counterparts. They can't have that. Snow bunnies at work be lusting over this brotha so imagine if he was given more exposure?

Blood & Bone was the shyt and Falcon Rising wasn't too bad either so I could definitely see him pulling off major roles within the genre successfully.

Its pretty simple, not enough people like him. He's had multiple chances to get momentum going but the buzz just isnt there. You dont gotta be a great actor to get good action roles but you gotta have a good size fanbase. He'll always be "that nikka from that shytty Spawn movie." Then he followed that up with the JErry Springer movie

This is the same country that made Arnold Schwarzenegger a super star and he can barely speak English. Michael Jai White isn't the best actor but it's not out of the question that he should be a bigger star, when far worse people have blown up.

I also think MJW automatically brings some intimidation factor by his size and background, so that doesn't really fit well with Hollywood right now unless you got huge fan bases like The Rock or Vin Diesel.

He's good and he really would be dope as a villian in one of the Fast and Furious movies or something....but we gon act like its suprising he's not some mega star now....If Wesley was doing straight to dvd movies well before his prime was over,exactly what role would be available for the poor mans Wesley in Hollywood...he's had a great career when you think about it,outdone all expectations.

Unfortunately his career picked up steam kindve late in his career where he's too old to be pushed as a fresh face....if stalone or arnold was 40 before having they first hit and gaining buzz i doubt theyd get great chances once they were old...he didnt get the love back in his young years as he gets now,hit his prime late.

And back when he was young like i said he was the poor mans wesley,if you had a blockbuster to mame which nikka who knows karate was you gon call?

I dont know if theyve ever worked together but it would be dope if him and wesley did something together now if wesley aint completley .
