Political apathy is one of the most dangerous/depressing things out there brehs. Now I can understand some saying "they're all puppets" or "he ain't done shyt" but how exactly is NOT voting gonna make it better? You're just giving more power to those you say "don't care about you", well of course they won't if you don't vote!

I also believe that political apathy, for various reasons, touches more people that tend to vote for the left/democrats, because change NEVER comes fast enough and it's always easier to cut down taxes than to improve health care, for example. Just as it's easier to say "it's their fault" than "let's accept our differences and move forward together".

But the worst is people who say they don't vote then come and complain about shyt, I remember I was in France when the Extreme-right came in second in the presidential elections and tons of people were saying "this can't be true", "this can't be France" and all that and then I asked who THEY voted for and they say they didn't vote :snoop:

This is the first election that I've had literally no interest in since 1996 and the first election I won't be voting in since 2004 (which was my very first)

Do people still really buy into all that shyt? No single man or woman in the oval office will change ur lives bros. Whether democratic or republican, and theres not much difference between the two. None of those titles mean shyt anyway because in the end the victors cabinet will be filled with members from both parties anyway.

The fact of the matter is that none of this stuff really doesn't trickle down to the average citizen. People getting all hype over this shyt are no different than ppl who get hype over Celebrities or American Idol imo, u people need lives bro. If you want to vote then voting for your local mayor or governor will probably have more of an affect on ur daily life than the presidency will. And even that won't change ur life much.

These politicians aren't humanitarians, they don't care about you or the greater good of the citizens of this country. They're all self serving egomaniacs who just want to prove to their peers that they could win the presidency, which is the ultimate goal in life to alot of these narcissists minds. They're all liars and crooks man. Word to my nikka John Edwards (nikka had yal capped up with that 2nd america nonsense about poverty while the whole time he was living in a 500 million dollar mansion, getting dome from hoes while his wife lay dying from cancer, Kennedy, Obama whoever, they're all the same bro )

I'm not saying don't vote, but realize that when you do so it's not going to affect your life ....at all.

Bill Gates has done more for this country than any president has done in decades. In fact If he was running as an independent than I'd probably vote for him before any of the major party candidates

shout out to my nikka Hugo Chávez, hang in there bro bro, keep ur guards up, we riding with u

If Bush was never elected, we would have never gone into Iraq and millions of lives would be different now. If you think it doesn't matter who wins, then your an idiot.
:snoop: wow you should really apply some research for your enlightenment on America and war.

To the topic though, voting for social issues is worth voting for. But as far as anything financially that's pointless especially how it's setup now. Banks and big corporations run shyt and thats not changing until a straight up revolution occurs. Your best bet is to work on inventing something or waiting for a bubble and trying to capitalize off of it.

Until there is serious campaign finance reform, no presidential election means shyt

They're all owned by more or less the same interests. These elections are entertainment for the masses... American idol for slightly smarter people

The only issue is campaign finance reform, the rest is noise to distract us

I'm not. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice.....

Only way I'll ever vote again is if there is a real 3rd party candidate with a sensible platform and a legitimate shot to win. Otherwise....:rudy:

I voted the first year I was able to in 2008 but I won't be voting this year. Doubt I ever will again to be honest.

Im not voting. I work nights mostly and don't even wake up until the polling spots are probably closed. None of these scumbags are worth my time or energy to get out of bed and wait in line. Im tired of voting for the lesser evil. :pacspit:

Am I registered? Yeah. Will I vote? Nope.

I don't really give a shyt who wins, we're fukked no matter what.
