With the exception of land mass, by any measure the United States is the most prosperous/Powerful nation to ever exist and our parents and grandparents built this by effort, geography and world events to name a few

If u look back in history, democracies are not how ppl were lead and currently lead in many parts of the world.

Run by strongmen and repressive govts that are all corrupt

Democracies are fragile and they see diminishing chances to change their base support in the future and going all in on a dementia rattled felon.

That speaks to the desperation does it not?

I believe trump and his America the cowardly approach will have the exact opposite on the economy. If u read the scholarly independent studies, his proposals will level the poor and middle class (which powers this domestic economy) with their purchases, explode the national debt, endanger national healthcare and women's rights.

If you can name me one "more powerful" economy/military in the world run by a Christian nationalist or whatever authoritarian govt in the world, I'll wait.

The goal of democracy and rule of law ( however it has fallen short ) has what made this country successful and trusted in the past. If u give up on that, u lose it all

I will say, African Americans have had to save the goal of democracy in this country and abroad way too many times before but need to come together one more in a big way to save it again

And letting tens of millions of illegals in and giving them resources we desperately need is good for us?

We're literally voting against a massive cult this election, the consequences are huge because if this cult wins it will reinforce their lunacy and make them even stronger. If they lose it will force the Republican party to hopefully go further away from the divisive Trump rhetoric and move a little closer to the center right. Joe Budden brought up on his pod today how Trump has won the marketing game as far as campaigning. Say what you want about Trump as a person and his policies, but Kamala and the DNC hasn’t done a good job dispelling the myth that Trump was personally responsible for the Covid stimulus and linking the Covid stimulus programs to the spike in inflation. Also Joe made a good point that Trump must have Black peoples in touch with the culture and streets advising his campaign on which celebrities connect with Black male youth.
