I remember when I found Dragon Ball GT Final Bout :whoo: that shyt was out for months but I went one day with my mom and :banderas:

Also when my boy tried to steal Vice City lol this nikka stuck a demo game in the case thinking shyt would be good. The store called his pops and his pops told him that the police were coming to pick him up from his crib :troll:this nikka was sad as hell, he was like "I'mma see y'all when I get out :to:"

brehs i use to do some bad shyt

like 10-15 years ago i got a membership at a bunch of blockbusters in the atlanta area

and rented like every good wrestling ppv vhs they had and just kept them and never took them back

But yeah going to blockbuster on the weekend as a kid was like :ohlawd:

All the new games titles you want would always be rented out when you got in there though

But sometime you'd ask them to check the drop box and if that new game was in there :ohlawd:

Yeah, I remember me and my brother were looking for a video game and it wasn't there until we saw some people came in and drop the box and we gonna ask them, :lupe: Is that game there?....:lupe:

Yeah, i played a lot more games and watched more movies when Blockbuster was around. Now you only option for playing a game is buy it at launch for 60 bucks or wait months to buy it for 30 bucks. I miss being able to just rent a game for 5 bucks.

I really dont know how kids are going to see all those classic movies we saw back in the day if they arent up on Netflix. Im not gonna buy The Never Ending Story for a kid but i would rent it if it was available.

You can rent popular games for $2 a day @ redbox or get a gamefly subscription.

Still options out there

yeah, as a kid, my mom would always take me there and let me grab 2 games, and usually a movie too. i always wanted to run back into the adult section, but i never did, which is suprising because of how much worse shiit i would do? i remember when they started selling their used games, and i was stupid enough to convince her to buy me sub zero mythologies:snoop: doc's was a video place too, that was actually just down the street from me. they had a smaller selection, but i would get more for the money. i rented plenty of games from there like secret of mana and evermore, blades of steel, donkey kong country, and plenty of other greats. they also had scratch-offs in the front of the store, which i would consistently win 40-60 bucks off of. come to think of it, i miss being able to go around and search. it was like an adventure as a kid. you can't even do that kind of shiit anymore. it's no wonder people are like zombies nowadays? everything can be sent straight into their home.
