Any healthy, grown a$$ man who allows another man to mow his lawn needs to reevaluate himself

The Truth
True ... I think each man has to break it down ... for most, yard work is.the most accessible work with your hands you can do on your own shyt type of activity ... if you ain't doing nothing else with your hands , that's the least you can do ...

As @Kalik said , sometimes you weigh it out and.it makes.more.economic sense to go to work and toss 30 bux to someone.

I still says there is tremendous value in outdoor work that every man should.appreciate .

And we always make time for Shyt we really wanna do.

:sas2:

But yeah lawn and landscaping services ain't for everybody . Its really not a game ... but if.you can get you a nice lil dedicated crew and add to your skills to become more of comprehensive service, it's a good.hustle . Especially for those who love outdoors and have an entrepreneurial spirit ...and for dudes coming back home after a bid who can't get hired.

Only thing is alotta folk go into it with no sense of professionalism work ethic, research or marketing savvy.

Yup

And i dont have time to do shyt that I really dont wanna do.

I also did part timing at my cousins civil engineering company... Doing the bottom level shyt at those kind of jobs is not shyt I want to do and im too intellectual for it anyway.

So like I said, i have one day off a week... Maybe. I just put in 7 full days plus overtime last week. I commute 2-3 hours a day I haven't gone out socially in months... I dont give a fukk about $50 a month to cut my grass.

Its not fun, entertaining, or gives me a feeling of accomplishment. i did it for money or to help out.

Everywhere...You never there.
I agree I feel you, I like doing shyt outside... just not the routine cut the grass.

Im gonna install some pavers and cut back some trees myself. I actually enjoy raking my yard (lots of trees). I burn one, put on my headphones and rake for an hour a week, fill up 6 cans of leaves for the biodegradable trash biweekly.

I love being outside, on my terms.

:salute:

I've been researching about doing my own compost bin and my old neighbor made a rain barrel that was kinda cool too.

With all the Shyt you can do, its refreshing man...

Y'all need to get out. Go back to your roots .

Hmmm... I dunno .. I just get in a zone when I'm working outside ...

So you don't do any more work with your hands on anything that you "own"?

You pay everybody to do shyt ?

Every man should be doing some work with their hands imo.

Lmao you and these rules

I fix shyt i own with my hands when i feel like it. I just fixed my toilet yesterday:mjlol:

I also fix other people shyt for a living.. Just more on a intelligence side and not "oh, i need to fix this with my hands to feel like a man"

I change my own car batteries, jump my own car (with a portable battery I moght add), people call me to change their tires, fixed my homies fireplace, fixed my moms tv my dads computer, etc

What if it costs you more to do it yourself than an hour of your work at the job?

At a certain point, people are willing to pay for leisure time.

Im also going to fix up my own car by adding an aftermarket air intake and led lights on the inside. Rims and tint are going to be on someone else's time whenever i get the time to do it

I ain't judging. We had some weeding/trimming/ mowing that needed to be done and I wasn't getting home until after dark daily and hadn't been able to teach my 11 year old how to do the weeding properly AND the old mower is too tight for him to start on his own. Long story short I come home one day (finally before dark) and an older breh from chuuch is mowing my lawn and had pulled all the weeds. Wife had put on FB that we needed landscaping help and homie works from home so he just showed up and did it. Now I appreciated the love and all but I definitely felt some type of way for a mn about another man doing what I could've been doing
