I do 3-4 days and anywhere from 5-8 miles depending on how much time I have. Did 5 this morning before work.

I like to run but not everyday. Maybe every other day.

I ride my bicycle to work so I’m doing about 15 miles a day on my bike.

Also, I want to buy stock in Altra. They’re by far the best running shoes I’ve ever had in my life. Gone through countless pairs of Escalantes and Lone Peaks. Give them a shot if you’re looking for something new. They fully converted me over to strictly zero drop shoes for running.

Im trying to get back to running 20 miles a week. Most of my running is on the trail so I get a good workout whether it's for a few miles or over 6 at a time. My running club is good though most of everyone in it are ultra runners (25k and up) .

Gonna get back into the multivitamins. Yeah, women love the physique for I'm a toned 6ft1, 200 .

Looking to do some races in April but until then, flexibility is the key at my age (41) . Realized how crucial calestenics is now for I like to run light on my feet.

The shoe thing is the best advice. Thought it wouldn't matter, but that shyt makes a difference
shoes make all the difference for walking and running. pick a bad pair and your will just be fighting with fatigue and aches limiting your physical output.

feet are drastically different though and people tend to give advice in a one size fits all type style while claiming to be experts

don't let anyone tell you you can't wear such and such brand etc and be a serious runner neither.

it's a journey to find the ones that work for you but when you do you open up a world of pure efficiency.

Not gonna lie, it was a bit dicey out there this morning :patrice:
I kinda love it.

I bought some thin base layers from Amazon. I am trying to upgrade, but It becomes pointless because I can run with a jacket in 50 degrees and up.

Oh I don't mind the temps. Once you have a solid stock of thermal gear, cold weather is light work for the most part. What I meant was the sidewalks were still icey / slick and I had to slow my pace in spurts to prevent me from eating shyt on the pavement.

:patrice: Hmm the only injuries i can ever remember were from overuse. Like i'd have a heavy deadlift/back session and my lower back would be screaming after 10 or so miles from pounding the pavement. Or i'd run 20 or so miles and my achilles would start hurting or some shyt.

A guy told me to try run on the softest material you can find instead of concrete but outside of that eat right so you have fuel and do some light stretching i guess :yeshrug:
