Now, a lot of schools only have PE once a week...
Grammar school was like that.
High school you went everyday.
fukk around and not go. Wind up getting demo'd.
Then sent to summer school.
Where if you did not get that grade. You was gon really demo and not graduate.
Plus this was before that rule where they passed you on. I was Starting high school at 13. Graduated at 17.
It was grown ass 20 year olds.

My gym teacher all 3 years of middle school was an older southern breh with a boot on his foot who swore up and down he got drafted by the Hawks back in the day but got injured.
He was GOATED cause outside of whatever mandatory shyt there was (Presidential fitness test, etc., running laps) he let us play half court ball everyday. My shot was money by the time I hit high school

I also climbed the metal poles on the playground, used to terrorized white girls in the seventh grade (1990) be climbing to the top of the playground and then jumping off of it.
we had to clean the gutters out on the back of the house, when we were finished, we jumped off the roof, couldn't have been no more than 10 feet

Same.nah, had to do pullups in middle school. My friends had to lift me up
If you couldn't do a pullup, you had to hold on to the bar (chin above) for so long.
I know my school had a rope climb but can't remember who could really do it. Couldn't have been many if anyone at all. lol

In Cali it's usually the 7th and 8th grade. The local elementary schools did not go to the 6th grade, so my middle school went 6th-8th, though I think this is uncommon.
