Inspiration comes when it can. You got to know how to find a nice niche and get in your zone such as, cleaning your apartment or office space, listening to music and watching movies, what colors can active you the most.
I usually take months off from drawing to work on graphic design projects. When I come back to drawing and illustrations I never lost anything.
You have to keep practicing and teach you arm muscles the in and outs of the art you create and keep a imaginative mind turning.
i have a problem of not finishing stuff if i let it sit for a long timeYeah, I usually draw in bursts.... May draw intensely for a few days and then put it away for a long time and just come back to it. I'm trying to develop a more consistent routine however.
those are ill man keep it up breh
i use to draw back in high school havent pick up the pencils in years
Those that have done this as a career whether through finding some kind of fulltime job or through freelancing, how have ya transitioned from going from school (or from wherever) to starting your career and getting into the business?
I'm asking mainly because I already know one thing I feel like I'm going to have to improve at is getting myself to work earlier and more often. I feel like art school has set me up to end up doing a ton of work late at night rather than during the day and that seems like something that would be detrimental to getting a career moving.
