I don't get why they don't take the deal offered: you get a young core to build around, you probably free up cap space (especially if you trade Okafor and focus on Zubac) + you get first round picks.

IF this deal doesn't happen, they will regret this for a long time and AD can STILL come to LA in Free Agency..
Most of the players they're offering either already said they don't want to play here, got cut from the pels in the past 2 years, overrated or simply just not good enough for this kind of trade. People are tripping on the draft pick demands but if you think about it the Lakers won't have a top 15 draft pick. Its not like they're giving away guaranteed top 5 picks. They'll be at the top of the West so those picks will be late 1st round anyway

The pels played it right so far. Try to get everything you can bc they know Lakers would give everything to get a deal done before the trade deadline. Magic is still willing to deal even after these demands. Magic throwing everything in for AD sets the bar high for other teams now. They weren't gonna trade him this week anyway. All they did was drive the price up. They need to play it smart in the off season tho and dell demps is a fukking idiot so give him time to really fukk this up bc he will somehow

@Flywin Lannister :mjlol:

You mad that nobody wants your fukking trash :umad:

Ball sucks, and your "vets" are just old guys. Getting rid of him would be good for your team. You literally just stole Rondo from NOLA. Now you want AD too. A trade is supposed to be beneficial for the other team. :mjlol:

Imagine if the Pelicans came at you offering their rookies, plus some future draft picks for Lebron. You'd look at them like ":heh:" This is what the lakers are trying to do. You think that just because they're in a lakers jersey, that they're valuable players.
"Bu-bu- we deserve everything. The league is a farm team for the Lakers. :sadbron:"

Pelicans gonna look stupid as fukk when AD flat out tells the league that he wont re-sign anywhere but the Lakers....and they get low balled because of it.
Thats pretty much the case already. The only teams that have really good trade packages that he said he would resign with is the lakers. Knicks can't offer anything and the bucks don't have shyt. He gave the team he wants and 2 other teams he knows cant do anything.

So the Lakers from last year :dead:
That aint shyt but lotto picks id rather take nothing

This.

The Pelicans gotta be looking at it like... yall nikkas ain't win shyt with this squad, but you want to dump your trash on us and call it gold? If they can't win with them and are so eager to give them up, why do we want them when we have 1 1/2 years with our generational talent.

If I'm the Pelicans, I'm not considering that offer for even a second.

Yeah, we know this is the case but to announce it changes the dynamics. The only teams that will take AD if they know he isnt going to re-sign will be a team that is looking for a salary dump (which is basically no one other than Pistons with Blake) or a multi-team deal where they give assets to NO, get AD, then immediately take the Laker deal.

So did it get to this point because Rich Paul went to the media about AD's plans, instead of informing the Pelicans first? Making them feel bum-rushed/disrespected?

i.e. Couldn't AD have just told NOP privately at the start of the season that he'll give them 100% effort but if the team is still struggling by Feb he'd want to explore a trade? Like, what the hell caused this lol

For a franchise and star player that you never heard had any type of animosity, shyt just got so unnecessarily messy

They did inform them first.

You nikkas are on one. Pelicans have ALL the leverage right now. There’s no reason to be desperate. AD is under contract until July 1, 2020. That means they have a year and a half to decide what they want to do. If I were them I’d wait for Boston. They have better valuables than LA does. If Danny Ainge is willing to pull the trigger on that, despite that fact that AD may not resign once he hits free agency, then that’s on him. The Pelicans are smart. The only question is do they play him or do they sit him.
Gotta sit him. You already know you're trading him, if you start losing better draft pick, built in excuse to tank and why risk him getting hurt and killing all trade offers.

Is this fool gonna ignore that Tatum and Brown have regressed? :what:

Regressed based on what? :dahell:

Tatum's numbers are basically up across the board with the exception of his 3 point efficiency, which he's still hitting at a good rate. JB got off to a bad start largely due to injuries and not having a defined role, now that he's healthier and settled in he's playing better than he ever has.

Pels done lost they damn minds:laff:

I don’t think Del is dumb enough to turn that haul down. This shyt coming from the TOP. They BIG mad that Lebron and Klutch are exerting so much will over the league.

Yeah that the deal that I suggested originally. Clearly there’s some collusion going on against the lakers

How can you type this without a :troll: smiley? :dahell:

Tatum and Brown have worse shooting numbers across the board this season. Tatum went from 47%/43% to 45/37% and Brown from 47%/40% to 45%/33%.

You're making excuses when the same things could be said about BI and Kuzma. :dahell:
