just means you're offering a larger pile of in the end, I don't know what it's gonna take to get this through some of y'alls thick ass skulls. Why would we voluntarily give up AD now to recreate the 30~ win 2017 Lakers in 2019 when the draft hasn't even happened yet and the Lakers will be crawling back to the table for negotiating once they get slapped in the 1st round ??? Why do you think Magic was willing to dump literally all of these fools at a moment's notice for AD? Because even altogether all they amount to is permanent purgatory basura status! And because the Lakers chances of getting another star FA that isn't AD to voluntarily subject themselves to playing with them and the cancer surrounding Bron and Klutch this summer is almost zero.

So did it get to this point because Rich Paul went to the media about AD's plans, instead of informing the Pelicans first? Making them feel bum-rushed/disrespected?
i.e. Couldn't AD have just told NOP privately at the start of the season that he'll give them 100% effort but if the team is still struggling by Feb he'd want to explore a trade? Like, what the hell caused this lol

The irony in all of this is if the Pelicans had all of the Lakers young guys (Ball, Ingram, Kuzma - or replacing Ball with Zubac or Hart because you don't wanna deal with it), alongside a couple of the vets offered (Beasley, Rondo, Pope, whomever)... it's not like they're going to be any worse of a team than they already are. They're not making the playoffs with Davis anyway. 
Pelicans gonna look stupid as fukk when AD flat out tells the league that he wont re-sign anywhere but the Lakers....and they get low balled because of it.
