You dont always have to put together a big 3 or more to win. As evidenced by the Spurs, Mavs, Pistons of the recent past and other well balanced teams.

Just build a cohesive unit

Yes you CAN, it's not impossible.. but it's very difficult. For a situation like that you gotta basically assemble the perfect core and have all the stars align. Building a team like the Pistons had in the early 2000s is damn near blind luck, having all those guys break out together at the same time. That's not the kind of setup a franchise should aspire to be.

Even the Mavs, yea they beat Miami, but never made it out the first round again. Miami made the finals every year cause they had the stars.

What are they smoking over there in New Orleans or do all these bums sip lean?

I get that they want the LWO to stop from dominating for the foreseeable future (no way on earth OKC would've been cool trading KD to the Warriors) but the Lakers have now offered their entire young core + some vets + picks and they want MORE picks.. What's next, they want Pelinka too?

Fools. Their franchise is insignificant - like our franchise was the second Kobe left and until LeBron joined - they should've said yes to the young core when they actually had a chance. Honestly. I think this could be a good thing: AD is great IN NEW ORLEANS so far. He has not proven himself in the Playoffs and has never won anything significant in the NBA.. throwing the entire young core 'away' to get him may be something we'd regret later. Lonzo + 23 should be kept at all cost (I know y'all will clown that concept, but dude's already a top defensive PG and a highly skilled passer.. you'll need one of those when you have AD and Rondo's out)

Maybe not a big 3 but at the very least one all time great and another all star

Pistons are the only team to win with out an all time great that’s once every 50 years sh1t it’s not normal

Anthony got fine for putting them in this position. NOP could argue; if he pops his achellis, then what?
So nobody should play if that's the logic :mjlol:what if they get hurt?

The Leauges job isnt to help a particular team preserve a players trade value
