46 pages on this when everyone who followed the "clues" closely could have easily known by now the Pelicans were waiting till the summer. But this has all been entertaining. Pels hold all the power and finally are playing their franchise right. Hey, they're just the lowly Pelicans anyway...So what if this makes them look "bad", no one ever takes the Pelicans seriously anyway right?

So first we get the bullshyt Lakers offer that doesn't include all the youngsters... That marinated for a day and got laughed off THEN the real offer breaks the next day and they say we're waiting for NO to respond... Then NO drops their bullshyt proposal where it's "I need 100 acres and a mule" yadda yadda ya... And I'd say by the deadline they'll fall somewhere in the middle.... Both sides are clearly negotiating via the media and trying to win the PR narrative for the ramifications/fallout of the deal... The pelicans have to look like they didn't get intemmidated and magic can't look like he didn't explore every option.
