Pels have no incentive to move AD now. The same core of Lonzo Ingram and kuzma will be there at the draft. It makes more sense to wait for the Knicks and see where their pic is as well as wait until you can see what Boston offers. It does not matter what Anthony Davis wants that all just get what you can

I don't know if that's true. If Knicks pick doesn't turn out to be top 3, Lakers' offer goes down significantly.

Offering "the whole farm" only works when that farm is a worthy asset in the first place. Them boys ain't fukking good man; if LA had drafted Tatum or Fox instead of Lonzo Bust this deal woulda been done already. And it's not just Tatum, the picks the Celtics would be offering like the Memphis pick which can become unprotected in 2021 are way more valuable than whatever trash in the late 20s we'd be getting from LA, and they have more of them to offer to boot. Don't forget guys like Robert Williams either, who isn't already about to hit restricted FA and we'd have to shell out for like Ingram is.

That's bs to me, these guys aren't Dragan Bender Marquesse Chriss level busts. You're more attracted to the potential of even getting a high lottery pick in 3 years and fukking Robert Williams than the potential of making a star out of even 1 of those guys, 2 of whom were #2 picks and not even 22 years old???

I'm not even sure what the holdup is. AD is putting the message out there he's not re-signing with Boston if traded there. Boston should have NO REASON to want to offer Tatum. Blazers with something around CJ, Knicks' pick this year + Knox + DSJ + cap relief, and Lakers' package. Those are the only 3 viable options I see on the table right now for the Pelicans where there's 2-way motivations.

Read between the lines- AD saying he’ll resign to Boston would only make the pelicans want to wait for Boston. AD doesn’t want to waste away half a season not being able to contend now. Boston cannot trade now so pels would have to wait. The goal of AD saying he won’t resign is to force pels into moving him now and not waiting for arguably the best trade package that would only be available in July.

I love Magic but to give up Ball, Kuzma, Ingram, Rondo, Lance, Beasley, and 2 1st round picks for Davis and Solomon Hill contract, is too much.

Dell Demps is a fool, should be fired and never have a job in the league again if he doesn't accept this trade.

Demps a dumbass

U rob magic and build a young squad in New Orleans...

That's a lot of Juelzing and guesswork. Even if they were to successfully trade for AD in July, at that point you're wondering what kind of impact it would have on locker room chemistry when AD's camp has torched the Celtics' PR and made a big drama out of not wanting to play in Boston. And even then, you'd want very positive signs / commitment from AD that he'd re-sign.
