If it gets to that point, AD will probably hve been traded elsewhere already and the Lakers FO will have been given intel he's coming. At that point, they would just ride it out IMO.
Ride it out?

I doubt that’s the plan that was sold to Bron. I can guarantee Magic promised 1 year to build the squad and then they compete for a ring. Bron is on a ticking clock. shyt the original plan was to bring the second max guy in the same year as Bron and this would be the growing pains year similar to his first season in Miami. Everyone adjusts their game to play with Bron while they figure out the type of role players they need to complete the team. Maybe they are top heavy enough to just run through teams and make it to the WC finals, but the following season they should be able to compete with GSW.

shyt even if they are a year behind and they got some guys this summer, that wouldn’t be too bad. But if they aren’t bringing in any worthwhile talent until 2020...that’s a failure.

You can't guarantee shyt :mjlol: Bron went to the Lakers for Los Angeles, period. He said it himself about not wanting the pressure of going to the finals every year.

Obviously the goal is to add another star or two, but nothing is contingent on that.

fukk outta here he said that shyt to cover himself incase they can’t beat GSW because he knows that guaranteed finals every year shyt is over with. But I can promise you Bron is about winning. He didn’t come to LA to play with Lonzo Ball and hang out with Jimmy Kimmel. Stop it....obviously everyone knows that except you.

Bron will be trying his hardest to bring in players to make this team competitive.

If he was about winning he wouldn't have gone to LA in the first place.

Odom, butler, grant were all better players.

So when the Lakers had to give up Shaq for Odom/Butler/Grant and a 1st without even getting Wade no one bats an eye but God forbid the Lakers decide to deal in their favor and it’s the end of the world.

We’ve offered them five deals which includes our whole future and most of our depth but somehow its the Lakers that aren’t dealing in good faith. No, Pels ownership is also Saints ownership and they’ve allowed what happened to them against the Rams to seep into their basketball dealings. It’s a trash organization and the more they keep pouring jelly on themselves the more I want them to actually get fukked over.

The bias is comical at this point. It’s ok for Boston to have everybody but not the Lakers. Golden State can have a GOAT level starting five that everyone bytches about but don’t let the Lakers gut their whole team for a player that combined with Bron still might not be enough to get to the Finals.

Edit: for the record I don’t like that deal. Why the fukk should they get both of our PGs? fukk the Pelicans....:pacspit:

Let be realistic if the trade doesn't involve some form of 4/5 of the players and picks below and KCP as fillers the Lakers wont get him.

Kuzma/Ingram/Ball/Zubac/ 2 1st and KCP for salary purposes

I dunno - how much cap space do you clear by trading both Ingram and BI? :jbhmm:

You do remember money has to match on trades, right? :beli:

How would expiring contracts possibly make a trade worse? :what:

The Pels didnt accomplish anything during AD's run except beating Portland. You say the team is going to be in the dumps after that trade? They been garbage. Horrible team given its talent. NOTHING acquired for AD at this point is trash, I dont care who offers it. His days in N.O. are over and somebody needs to get that through their head and stop talking about waiting til the summer to get Jason Tatum. :dead: N.O. has no leverage over LAL, Boston, Toronto, or anybody. We are not talking about a playoff team here. At a point they are going to start overvaluing AD's asset value. It comes down to if you want players or picks. I think Demps would rather have the former. However if the Pels want picks they may as well shut talks down and wait til July 1st.

I was one of those who thought the PG13 trade would be good for the Pacers, in Oladipo, I said you have a guy that will give you a guaranteed 18ppg and if Sabonis developed that would be a bonus. Look how that worked out after people were slamming Pritchard for that shyt. If you can get two good players and some picks that is the best you can hope for. N.O. trying to get Ingram and Kuz or Tatum and Brown, PLUS other assets is probably asking too much. Buddy Hield is the guy the Kings always wanted and it has worked out for them even thought people thought that trade was trash.....and then Vlade said that 2 days prior to that Boogie trade he had a better deal on the table.
He's not going to be a Laker no matter how many angry paragraphs you type :mjlol:

No, that doesn't sound familiar, cause you made that shyt up. :mjlol:

Waiters was the ONLY Cleveland rotation player traded away. Irving, Love, TT, Varejao, Delly, Marion, Miller, and James Jones were all untouched. Waiters is half the team now?
