Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Writer on Kang's Most Important Difference from Thanos - IGN

Good insight here, especially since this is the same guy that's the writer for Kang Dynasty. He's purposefully showcasing his human attributes and vulnerability before escalating to universal threat. Which means this is all going to be personal whereas with Thanos, everyone was just a casualty in his grand scheme.

Seems like Kang is built differently. :ehh:
I kinda figured, which is why the spoilers doesn't hinder me from still going to see this movie. Even in his weakest form, he's powerful as sh!t. I think in Ant Man, it is his origins as a conqueror but we'll see him progress into one of the most powerful Marvel characters and even tie back into Loki where we trace his love interest and connection to Ravonna. I can't wait tbh.

Seems like cacs want Kang to be a weak villain :mjpls:

No surprise there.

Because cacs can't write a dominant and intelligent Black villain because their cacness won't let them lose to him even temporarily which is why Antman of all people is seemingly evenly matched with Kang who's supposed to be an Avengers level threat.

Kang with time travel is like Thanos with the infinity stones. Relax. It takes time to unravel.

Fun fact: In the first avengers, Thanos was played by a black actor.

But when it was time for them to give Thanos screen time and make him a focal point, they had to switch it up huh :mjpls:

Let's review the evidence:

Sylvie took care of the first version of Kang in Loki with no effort :mjpls:

Ant-Man, who's weak even for a regular person, is talking greasy to the 2nd version of Kang and giving him that work. :mjpls:

And we're supposed to believe that he's worse than Thanos? Who even by the mere mention of his name had all the Avengers shook?

And when you look at other characters it's completely different: Homelander for example gave all the boys that work and they still haven't defeated him.

And Vecna on Stranger Things is still giving the scooby gang the blues

But Kang is getting man-handled by Scott Lang? :mjpls:

So when the Avengers defeat him in a few minutes and are laughing about it eating shawarma at the end of this film or the other one we'll know that the cacs couldn't let him win. Even temporarily. :mjpls:

:mjlol:The thing is that the avengers never defeat him. He can't be killed. He just keeps coming back, more smarter and powerful till his own self convinces himself to stop. He learns from himself over and over again. He even toyed around with Loki and Sylvie before telling them to kill that variant.

Breh really can’t go one post in this sub without the :mjpls:

:dead:

It accurately describes the behavior of Marvel because they're shortchanging and keeping weak all of their Black characters.

Falcon doesn't get the serum and is getting sidelined in his own movie.

Rhodey is a sidekick that's finally getting a movie but only after Tony is gone.

They refused to re-cast T'Challa, they put Shuri in charge, made M'Baku a punching bag, got rid of Ramonda and brought in his son to placate protesters even though they're probably going to mess that character up.

And Kang is supposed to be the most powerful villain yet, but he's reduced to getting in a wrestling match with Scott Lang. :scust:
